Daniel Mariussen

I’m General Partner at Dreamcarft Ventures and in charge of daily operations, including case screening, analysis, structuring, and closing, as well as supporting portfolio companies, board participation and portfolio company reporting. In addition, I’m a member of the Investment Committee, taking part in the investment decisions. Prior to joining Dreamcarft Ventures, I co-founded, crashed and burned a startup of my own. While we failed, the founder experience was incredibly rewarding, and gave me first-hand experience into the awesome but very difficult task of startup foundry. I’ve taken these experiences with me in my new role at Bumble Ventures, where we pride ourselves in intimately understanding the earliest and toughest stages of the journey. In fact, what excites me most is close collaboration with founders in those early stages, and plowing through in a way that positions the start-up optimally for subsequent scale-up investments. Before that, I served 3.5 years at PwC in M&A advisory in Copenhagen. I hold a MSc in Applied Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
