Fast forward to 2005, after completing high school, he was more determined than ever to expand his knowledge and expertise in the field of technology! Pablo conducted thorough research to select the most suitable educational institution and ultimately decided on 'Åbo Akademi University' (ÅAU) due to its outstanding academic programs in the fields of information technology, engineering, computer science, and innovative research opportunities. Enrolling at ÅAU opened up a world of opportunities for Pablo Korhonen. Immersed in a stimulating academic environment, he found himself surrounded by like-minded peers and passionate professors who shared his enthusiasm for technology. The university's specialized programs provided Pablo with a comprehensive understanding of information technology, spanning fundamental concepts to advanced programming techniques and cutting-edge innovations. In retrospect, Pablo's decision to attend Åbo Akademi was instrumental in shaping his career path and preparing him for success in the fast-paced world of technology. After graduating from Åbo Akademi University, having successfully obtained both his Bachelor's degree in Computational Science and Master's degree in Advanced System Engineering, Pablo embarked on his professional journey, eager to apply his newfound knowledge and skills in the real world. His first opportunity came at Nokia, a dynamic technology giant based in Espoo, Finland and known globally for its pioneering innovations within the tech sector. Joining Nokia as a systems engineer, Pablo was immediately drawn to the company's innovative culture and ambitious projects. Nokia, renowned for developing advanced telecommunications solutions, offered Pablo the perfect platform to put his expertise into practice and allowing him to make strong contributions to their complex projects. Pablo then garnered a wealth of experience and demonstrated his prowess both as an advanced developer and as a leader at several prominent companies, including Ericsson, Rovio Entertainment Corporation, KONE, Wärtsilä, and others, where he tackled complex system development challenges and led innovative, groundbreaking, and unique projects. Driven by a passion for leading-edge technology and innovation, Pablo joined zk-Call & Digital Co. initially as a senior technology advisor. His contributions quickly made an impact, leading to his promotion to Vice President of Engineering (VPE). In this role, he lead the company's technological initiatives, focusing on the integration of advanced AI algorithms and the development of new software products, thereby enhancing zk-Call's market position as an industry leader. In addition to his responsibilities at zk-Call, Pablo also holds a key leadership role as the Director of Technological Strategy & Infrastructure at Cemindo. In this capacity, he oversees the development of enterprise-level IT infrastructure strategies, guiding the integration of scalable systems architecture, cross-platform solutions, and data security frameworks that support the company’s operational growth.
