Cyril Collon

Cyril COLLON is a General Partner of Partech, co-leading Partech Africa Fund, Partech’s multi-stages tech fund exclusively dedicated to Africa digital markets. He joined in May 2016. Prior to joining Partech, Cyril held different executive positions at fast-paced mobile and internet solution companies, with a consistent focus on Africa where he additionally grew up until 18. Prior to Partech, Cyril was the Vice President, Sales and Business Development, for Europe & Africa at Verscom Solutions, a leading System Integrator’s pioneer in Cloud/SaaS Packet-voice transformation for Emerging markets. Prior to Verscom, Cyril worked for Genband, a global leader in real time communications software solutions, where he initiated and headed the Channel development organization for Europe, Africa and Middle East. Prior to Genband, Cyril opened the Africa region for UTStarcom, a global Wireless leader, where he deployed the first IP-based mobile networks on the continent taking part of the critical mobile revolution in Africa; he set-up and headed the two African subsidiaries (Cameroon, Mali) as Managing Director.
