Herry Han

Herry Han joined Lightspeed in 2008 and is involved with a number of portfolio companies including MediaV, Meilele, Tujia, Lian Luo, China Vocational Training and Kaiyuan.. He focuses on Lightspeed’s investment efforts in China across multiple sectors: Internet, mobile, consumer service, enterprise software and services. Prior to Lightspeed, Herry was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he served clients in the high-tech, telecom, media, automotive, and energy industries. Herry worked closely with the board members of a number of Fortune 500 and domestic clients. In addition, he interacted closely with various domestic government bodies and on NGO projects. Prior to McKinsey, Herry worked as an engineer at Microsoft China. He is also the founder of a McKinsey alumni investors’ group, ExMcK@Investment, which has more than 100 VC and PE members across China. Herry holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is actively involved with amateur radio communications and was awarded a gold medal in amateur radio at the PRC National Games.
