Rafael de Haro

Rafael is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at VARIV Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage technology companies doing business in Latin America. Rafael is also Co-Founder of Lifedots, a New York-based mobile software company. Before VARIV and Lifedots, Rafael was an investment-banking associate in the M&A Group at JPMorgan in their London office and an associate attorney at the New York law firm of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. Rafael studied law at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, specialized in international law at the Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris, has an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business in New York and specializations in private equity and venture capital from Harvard Business School.
