Yair Snir

Yair Snir is Managing Director at Dell Technologies Capital, where he leads venture investment activity in Europe and Israel. Yair’s responsibilities include sourcing, leading and managing investments that support the full spectrum of Dell Technologies’ strategic focus areas. Prior to joining Dell Technologies, Yair was Microsoft’s Corporate Director of Business Development & M&A for Europe, managing the company’s activity across Europe and Israel. Before Microsoft, Yair worked for ECI Telecom as Head of Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Prior to that, he was a senior strategy consultant at Rotem Strategy, one of Israel’s leading consulting firms. Earlier in his career, Yair worked in various bio-tech and hi-tech roles where he established and managed R&D groups, authored patents, published scientific papers and presented at global conferences. In addition to his venture capital investment activities, Yair has lectured at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya, Israel. Yair holds a BS in Computer Science and Computational Biology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel and an MBA from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel. He is based in Herzliya, Israel. Yair represents Dell Technologies Capital on the board of directors of the following companies: Appdome, Otonomo, CloudEndure, TwistLock, Guardicore and Elastifile.
