Emmanuel Lumineau

Emmanuel is a serial Fintech entrepreneur and a 15-year investment professional with experience in technology platforms and digital assets, real estate and energy infrastructure. Recently, has has been the adviser to Fintech entrepreneurs, Big data companies and real estate private equity groups. He founded Brickvest, a disruptive fintech real estate investment platform, serving 7,000 investors and 200 banks where he acted as CEO from creation till its successful exit to Patrizia AG in 2020. He also founded 1OAK Financial Group, a London-based Alternative asset managers, involved in quant Hedge funds and two private equity funds (Pre-IPO technology fund, anchored by investment in Twitter Inc. and eco-city real estate investments in Europe). While at 1OAK, he founded Symbio2, developer of net-zero eco-districts projects in Europe. He exited 1OAK business, to set up Brickvest, a proptech investment platform Brickvest. He has strong interests in the creation of business models generated by transition to a low-carbon economy, from smart ecocity real estate projects to enabling disruptive energy, transport, real estate technologies. Emmanuel was head of Investments at Masdar City, a Mubadala company in Abu Dhabi and the first large-scale ecocity greenfield project, where he was leading the underwriting of the 25bn city masterplan including phase 1 plan (built), the ecocity technology roadmap and assessing 100+ disruptive technology applied to ecocities. (www.masdar.ae) Emmanuel started his investment career as investment banker in London and New York at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup / Salomon Brothers, involved in USD 50bn of deals in real estate and technology globally. Emmanuel holds a Ms Sc in Management with a Finance major from HEC Grande Ecole, Paris and a Ms Sc in Management from the CEMS, Community of European Management School. He also attended Cours Florent - "classe libre" program, one of the most prestigious drama and staging school in Paris. He speaks French, English and German. He is also a keen long distance runner with his two beloved athletics clubs: London Frontrunners and Highgate Harriers.
