Steffen Gemuenden

Steffen Gemuenden (Co-Founder & Director) –Steffen co-founded RTS Realtime Systems AG in 1992 and was Chairman of Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer from October 31, 2008 and served as a Member of the Executive Board. Steffen was responsible for Marketing and Sales within the RTS group. Previously, he served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of RTS Realtime Systems AG. He served as Member of Executive Board of RTS Realtime Systems AG. His background is IT and he is one of the pioneers in the electronic trading business. Steffen started to develop software for market makers and brokers back in 1990 when today's major market EUREX (formerly DTB) started its operations. He installed a few of the first IT infrastructures to trade on DTB in 1990. After working with traders and market makers for a few years, he started the original RTS company in 1992 together with one other software developer. Steffen sold RTS to Bloomberg Financial Services in 2014 and served as Head of Marketing Connectivity for Bloomberg until August 2018. RTS is one of only 5 companies ever bought by Bloomberg since its inception in 1981. Steffen has resigned from Bloomberg to be a director and early investor and co-founder of GoldGram Pte, Ltd
