Austin currently serves as VP of Global Sales Strategy, Operations, and Analytics for Snap One, a leading provider of smart living products, services, and software which is publicly traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker SNPO. In this role Austin is responsible for working with the other GTM leaders to develop and execute on the growth strategy for the >$1bn business. He has direct org responsibility for the global sales strategy, operations, analytics, and capability functions. Over the past 5 years Austin has served in GTM strategy roles and helped the company scale 5x. Austin has held functional org responsibility over retail marketing and merchandising, sales operations, GTM strategy, and analytics. Austin has lead GTM M&A strategy, synergies, and integration for >10 acquisitions with an collective enterprise value of >$800mm. Prior to joining Snap One Austin served as an Investment Banking Associate in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Credit Group at JPMorgan. Here he was focused on underwriting, analyzing, structuring, and managing credit commitments to TMT companies. During Austin's tenure on the TMT team he worked on 67 transactions including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and financings for strategic initiatives such as dividends and share repurchases. Austin lead business and financial due diligence with CEOs, CFOs, and heads of corporate development, built detailed financial models, negotiated term sheets and credit agreements, and served as a key point of contact to investors for questions regarding business performance, industry developments, and financial models. Before leaving JPM Austin was managing a portfolio of $2.4 billion in JPMorgan credit commitments. Prior to Investment Banking Austin worked in JPMorgan’s Chief Investment Office as a Finance and Business Management Analyst. He focused on reviewing and approving fixed income trades and prepared presentations for JPMorgan’s Board of Directors Risk Policy Committee. Austin started his career as a Software Product Manager in JPMorgan’s Asset Management business where he managed the development of a $5.5 million hedge fund portfolio management application. Austin holds a M.S. in Information Management from Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies and a B.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
