Cam Dyer

Mr. Cam Dyer began working with Falfurrias Management Partners in 2021 as co-investor and lead Advisory Board member for Crosslake Technologies. Since then, he has worked closely with Ed McMahan and the FCP partners to develop and launch FGP I. Mr. McMahan and Mr. Dyer worked together more than twenty years ago in lower-middle market private equity and investment banking. Mr. Dyer previously served as Managing Director and Partner of The Carlyle Group, which he joined in 2002. During his 19 years with Carlyle, in which he became Global Co-head of Carlyle’s TMT sector, Mr. Dyer completed investments across application software, data, and information technology, IT Services, and infrastructure businesses. Before joining Carlyle, Mr. Dyer was an associate with the private equity firm William Blair Capital Partners, a consultant with Bain & Company, and an investment banking analyst in the M&A Group of Bowles, Hollowell, Conner & Co. He earned his MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and his BS, Magna Cum Laude, from Washington & Lee University. Mr. Dyer currently serves as a director on the boards of Cadence RX, Carolina Tractor & Equipment Company, and the non-profit Aspire Community Capital. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of Melior Equity Partners (formerly Carlyle Ireland), WSC & Co., and Crosslake Technologies.
