Robin Horstmann

Robin Horstmann is a technology leader with over 30 years of experience in IT leadership roles within consumer goods manufacturing / distribution / e-commerce companies. She has extensive experience providing scalable, secure, cloud-based solutions to support turn around situations and exponential growth. In her current role as the head of IT for the Primal Pet Group (a group of pet food & pet treat manufacturing companies), she is focused on standardizing and scaling technology across multiple manufacturing companies, supporting mergers/acquisitions and high growth. In a prior role, Robin served as Director of IT for Charlotte’s Web (a global leader in production and distribution of hemp-based CBD wellness products) where she built and ran the organization’s first PMO and had oversight for IT infrastructure and business applications including ERP, CRM, business intelligence, and e-commerce platforms. Robin holds a B.S. in Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and certifications in project management (PMP), risk management (CRISC), security management (CISM), and data privacy (CDPSE). She has previously served in various board member roles.
