Mark Birschbach

Mark comes to SCV with a valuable background of start-up and M&A experience. He is responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing strategic investments for SCV as well as supporting existing SCV portfolio companies. Mark is also responsible for the development and execution of SCV's Accelerator program, REach™. Prior to joining SCV, Mark was the COO at Monthlys Inc., an e-commerce start-up company funded by Lightbank (Groupon co-founders) providing a go-to marketplace for consumers to discover, purchase and manage subscriptions and memberships to local products and services. Prior to Monthlys, Mark was the President & COO of Active Radius, LLC, a start-up company that provides technology-based marketing solutions to real estate and other service professionals, where he established and executed the strategic vision of the company and built and managed all departments within the organization. Prior to Active Radius, Mark was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Citi where he led transaction teams during the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions across a broad range of industries including a significant focus on technology, media and telecom. Mark is active in the entrepreneurial and technology communities serving as an advisor and consultant to several start-up companies. Mark received a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
