Peter Carrescia

Peter Carrescia has helped build and scale high growth companies by drawing on the experience he gained while in leadership roles at leading technology and venture capital firms. He is currently the co-founder and head of business development at Confirm, a portable digital identity company that enables you to add trust to your everyday interactions with others. From 2000, Peter has held senior roles at leading Canadian venture capital firms VenGrowth and OMERS Ventures, where he led investment activity in high growth technology companies. Prior to that, he held progressively senior roles at Microsoft and IBM. Peter holds a Joint Honours Bachelor of Mathematics (B.Math.) in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
