Driven by exploration and discovery, he supports companies building a brighter future through investment, mentorship, and a deep understanding of government processes. He has a diverse background in finance, beginning his career at a London merchant bank and expanding into real estate finance, sovereign advisory, financial product innovation and technology. As a founder of both fintech and healthtech companies, he is passionate about dual-use technologies and a mission to preserve democratic and capitalist values. From 2020 to 2023, he led two SPACs focused on cutting-edge technology, shaping his perspective and strategy to build impactful societal solutions. In 2022, he co-founded BOKA Group with the goal of bringing public market efficiency to private investments. BOKA is committed to supporting free market capitalism and democracy by making better decisions and deploying capital faster, focusing on value creation, and providing hands-on support for BOKA's portfolio companies. BOKA is building a brighter future by redefining national security and powering innovation without boundaries. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (MCSI) and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (F Fin). John holds a MA from the University of Oxford with additional studies at the University of London and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - College of Business.
