Reinhard Meier

Reinhard is Founding & Managing Partner of YZR Capital. YZR is a long-term oriented investment company based in Munich, which focuses on the added value of synergistic expertise in the investment team and healthcare sector focus. At YZR Capital Fund I, Reinhard supports European health tech founders on their way to becoming global technology leaders and aims to contribute to strengthening the European health tech ecosystem. Reinhard studied medicine and business administration. He specialized in diagnostic and interventional Radiology and served as Professor of Medicine. His PhD research was focused on the clinical translation of molecular sciences. Next to his medical career he was co-founder of the telemedicine platform TeleClinic, which was sold to a listed corporation in 2020. Furthermore he has been supporting the tech startup ecosystem as a business angel for years. „As a physician, entrepreneur and investor, it is important to me to give ideas a chance that can sustainably improve people's health.“
