Neal Bhadkamkar is the General Partner of Bold Capital Partners and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Monitor Ventures. He is a former Member of the Research staff at Interval Research. Before co-founding Monitor Ventures, Neal had a successful career in technology commercialization. As VP of Manufacturing and Engineering at Zowie Intertainment, Neal managed the design and development of analog and digital chips, PC software, as well as complex plastic components. At Interval Research, Paul Allen's research and commercialization company, Neal served as a member of the research staff as well as headed the commercialization process. In that capacity, he was responsible for transforming mature research projects into spin-off companies. Neal started his business career at the Boston Consulting Group where he worked closely with Teymour Boutros-Ghali (the two have had a long-standing professional and personal relationship since). As a partner of Monitor Ventures, Neal focuses on transforming technologies for industrial and enterprise applications. Neal is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
