Ned Berman is a Principal at Differential Ventures investing in (pre-)seed, data-centric startups. Previously, Ned was a venture investor at Samsung Catalyst Fund, a multi-stage venture fund investing in core technologies. While there, he also worked on corporate strategy within Samsung’s Strategy and Innovation Center. Prior to Samsung, Ned was a venture fellow at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) on the technology team. Before NEA, he covered public equities investments in TMT, industrials, and retail at Stadium Capital Management. Ned also worked on quantitative risk management at Moore Capital Management. He has consulted on various projects, including a micro-ground robot for PSI, a passive computer vision system for Carnival Cruises, and a digital passport for HSBC. Ned is also a co-founder of the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network - Undergraduate. Ned has an MEng in Computer Science from Cornell University, focusing on AI/ML and Cybersecurity. He also has an AB in Engineering Sciences modified with Economics and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College.
