Dagmar Bottenbruch is a dual national of the US and Germany. She has 30 years of experience (13 of these in Italy) in Corporate and Investment Banking with First Boston, Credit Suisse and as the General Manager of Rabobank Germany. Since 1999 she has been involved with start-ups, initially with Selftrade Italy, an on-line brokerage company. In 2007 she began investing in start-up companies and has a portfolio of 12 companies, including GoEuro, Zizoo, Vaamo, Sharegein and Curensea. She advises companies on strategy and finance and sits on various advisory and supervisory boards, including the DMK, Germany's largest dairy company, BXR, a private equity company and Flocert, a Fair Trade company. She has a BA degree in Biological Psychology from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
