Ramzi Ramsey

Ramzi joined Blackstone Growth in 2021 and is a Managing Director investing in the enterprise software and financial technology sectors. Prior to Blackstone, Ramzi was a Partner at SoftBank’s Vision Fund and led investing activity in the enterprise software sector. In 2019 and 2020, he was recognized as a Top 40 under 40 growth equity investor by GrowthCap. Over the course of his career, Ramzi has focused on late-stage growth equity investments across the enterprise software, financial technology, and consumer internet verticals. Ramzi has been a board member or investor in companies including Attentive Mobile, Automation Anywhere, Avvo, Financial Software Systems, ION Trading, OneTrust, Qualtrics (NASDAQ: XM), Rover (NASDAQ: ROVR), SeatGeek, Varsity Tutors (NKA: Nerdy), Wall Street Systems, and Zillow (NASDAQ: Z). Prior to SoftBank, Ramzi was an investor at TCV (Technology Crossover Ventures) and began his investing career at TA Associates. Outside of work, Ramzi co-founded an education e-commerce company which sold digital and physical children's learning materials prior to selling the business in 2014. The digital app was identified as one of the Top 5 Apps of 2014 by Mobily. Ramzi received his B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and completed his MBA from Harvard Business School.
