As co-founder of LoanTube, I’m on a mission to transform how UK consumers and SMEs access credit. Our market-leading, FCA-regulated platform delivers real-time, personalised loan offers with a laser focus on financial inclusion and transparency. Credit should empower, not limit – and no one should be left behind! Born into a French-Polish family and immersed in Anglo-American culture at 10 (via the American School of Warsaw), I’ve had the opportunity to embrace the power of multiculturalism, diverse perspectives, and boundless optimism from the very start. I was fortunate to study at some of the world’s leading universities – Sussex, Cambridge, and Oxford (at the latter on a British Council ‘Entente Cordiale’ Scholarship during its centenary edition). My first career steps were dedicated to the highfalutin world of investment banking with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where I spent 7 years advising some of Europe’s largest TMT companies and private equity firms on a variety of high-profile M&A and capital-raising transactions. In 2011, I dove into entrepreneurship [and never looked back!] when I moved back to Warsaw to co-found Freebee – Europe’s first digital loyalty platform, which brought together thousands of SME loyalty programmes into a single mobile app. Freebee caught the attention of Poland’s largest mobile operator (the formerly Vodafone-owned asset), who ultimately snapped it up for its unique tech infrastructure and extensive small merchant network. Back in the UK in 2019, I helped set up and fund ZIPZERO’s initial launch to combat the crushing costs of monthly household utility bills through the transparent monetisation of consumer shopping data.
