Piero Bussani

Piero Bussani is the Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer of Digital Bridge Holdings, LLC and brings over 24 years of general counsel and business experience in the public and private sectors to the company. For the past 12 years, Mr. Bussani served as Chief Legal Officer for operating companies owned by the Blackstone Group. Most recently, Mr. Bussani served as Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President for Invitation Homes, a $10 billion Blackstone company that is the largest owner and landlord of single family homes in the U.S. He joined Invitation Homes shortly after its startup and, along with the founders of the company, helped oversee the deployment of $10 billion of capital (building a portfolio of 50,000 homes) and the issuance of $6 billion of securitized debt. Mr. Bussani also established, implemented and managed the Legal, Risk Management, and Corporate Governance departments, along with the Legal Compliance program, company-wide. Mr. Bussani earned his Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1991, and graduated from The American University in 1987 with a B.A. in International Studies. He is a member of the Bar in New York, the District of Columbia and Connecticut, and he is an Authorized House Counsel in Florida.
