Kenneth Hao

Ken Hao joined Silver Lake in 2000 and is a Managing Partner. In 2007 and 2008, he led the establishment of the firm’s offices in China and Japan. Prior to joining Silver Lake, Kenneth Hao was a Managing Director at Hambrecht & Quist (H&Q) where he led a range of investment banking and venture capital activities. Kenneth Hao currently serves as a director on the boards of Allyes Online Media Holding, Avago Technologies Limited, and SMART Modular Technologies (WWH), Inc. Previously, he was a director of NetScout Systems, Inc., UGS Corp., Network General Corporation, and Certance Holdings (acquired by Quantum, and formerly a division of Seagate Technology). Kenneth Hao graduated from Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics.
