John Doran

John is a General Partner in London and was a founding member of the TCV European effort. His primary investment focus is in the software, internet, and financial technology industries. His current investments include NewVoiceMedia, Believe Digital, WorldRemit, Perfecto Mobile and Brillen.de. John was previously an investor with Summit Partners where he focused on investments across software, internet and financial technology. John started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, first in London before moving to New York. Prior to working in the professional world, John competed on the men’s ATP Tennis tour and was a member of the Irish Davis Cup team between 1996 and 2004. John received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and graduated with a B.A. in Economics (with honors) from Harvard College.
