Joaquim Hierro

Joaquim Hierro is responsible for both the GED Sur and GED Iberian Fund deals in Portugal and the South of the Iberian Peninsula. He is a member of both Investment Committees, and as well as GED’s Eastern Fund. Joaquim Hierro Lopes joined GED in 2003. He has been Financial Director at CIB, SA, (Ciments Français). From 1990 until 1996, he was Director of Investments for Grupo Amorim and thereafter, Managing Director of PME Capital. He was General Manager, for the Portuguese partner, in Venture Capital Fund (Interreg) for Galicia-Northern Portugal. He holds a MBA, and a degree in Applied Mathematics, and another in Accounting and Administration from the University of Porto
