Oystein Rekdal

Øystein Rekdal served as the CEO of Lytix Biopharma since the establishment in 2003. He currently leads the company-internal research programmes in support of the near- and mid-term pipeline. Dr. Rekdal received his PhD from the University of Tromsø. He has been instrumental in the cancer research that forms the basis of the company’s technology platform. He has an extensive research background in peptide chemistry, biochemistry and tumour biology. Dr. Rekdal also serves as Professor at the Medical Biochemistry Department in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tromsø and is collaborating with several distinguished international institutions.
