Cindi Choi

Cindi is Partner of Total Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Total SA ($127B). She is focused on finding, funding and fostering high-potential start-ups globally in renewable energy, mobility, smart-grid, battery storage, energy data intelligence, energy efficiency, software analytics, and enabling technologies. She is a recent expatriate in Paris from San Francisco. With over 18 years of experience, including 15 in energy, Cindi’s prior professional experience includes: the head of corporate development (M&A, investments, joint ventures, strategy) at SunPower (NASDAQ:SPWR); electric vehicle battery start-up co-founder/CEO; investment banker in traditional oil & gas energy (JPMorgan, Stephens). Cindi is an alumni of Harvard Business School, University of Queensland (MA, International Business), and Rice University (BA, Economics, Managerial Studies). In her spare time, she can usually be found on the trails, running or biking with her dog, on the slopes, or in a yoga studio.
