Denes Ban is a serial entrepreneur turned serial investor. He is currently a Managing Partner of one of Israel’s leading venture capital funds - with US$2,2 billion AUM, 400 investments and 40 funds, 5 incubators - where he advises some of the world’s most well-known financial institutions, family offices, and corporations on venture investing, innovation, and impact investing. Denes has personally invested in over 100 companies and founded a number of start-ups in the past decade. He founded and sold an HR company and co-founded PocketGuide, a TechCrunch winner and one of the world’s leading travel apps. His exits include Lemonade (NYSE:LMND), Uber (NYSE:UBER), Beyond Meat (NASDAQ:BYND), Innoviz (NASDAQ:INVZ), Arbe (NASDAQ:ARBE), Kenna (acquired by Cisco), Corephotonics (acquired by Samsung), Replay (Intel), Crosswise (Oracle), and more. Denes served for seven years as a diplomat for the Swedish Trade Mission in Europe, leading their management consulting division, where he directed international corporate strategy for companies such as Ericsson, Electrolux, Volvo, Saab, Gripen, and H&M.
