Denes Ban is a serial entrepreneur turned serial investor. He is currently a Managing Partner of one of Israel’s leading venture capital funds - with US$2,2 billion AUM, 400 investments and 40 funds, 5 incubators - where he advises some of the world’s most well-known financial institutions, family offices, and corporations on venture investing, innovation, and impact investing. Denes has personally invested in over 100 companies and founded a number of start-ups in the past decade. He founded and sold an HR company and co-founded PocketGuide, a TechCrunch winner and one of the world’s leading travel apps. His exits include Lemonade (NYSE:LMND), Uber (NYSE:UBER), Beyond Meat (NASDAQ:BYND), Innoviz (NASDAQ:INVZ), Arbe (NASDAQ:ARBE), Kenna (acquired by Cisco), Corephotonics (acquired by Samsung), Replay (Intel), Crosswise (Oracle), and more. Some of his unicorns are DailyPay, Hailo, HoneyBook, Jumpcloud, Klook, MasterClass, People.ai, Ro, and more. Denes served for seven years as a diplomat for the Swedish Trade Mission in Europe, leading their management consulting division, where he directed international corporate strategy for companies such as Ericsson, Electrolux, Volvo, Saab, Gripen, and H&M.
