Min-Q has solid 11 years of work experience at Samsung Electronics, a successful venture startup, and KIP. As an Electrical Engineering Ph.D. candidate with expertise in short-range low-power wireless systems and high-speed analog/digital systems, he co-founded softDSP, a company specializing in wireless communication software. During his career at Samsung Electronics, Min-Q developed Bluetooth cores and designed hardware modules for cell phones. Min-Q acquired 15+ patents during his engineering career. After joining KIP, he fully utilized his academic as well as hands-on experience as a successful engineer and invested in several promising companies such as Nestri(stereoscopic display device developer), DaeJung Chemical & Metals(new materials), and Kokam(secondary batteries). Min-Q received his B.S. and M.S. in Control and Instrumentation Engineering from Seoul National University and completed the Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering there. He is a fluent English speaker.
