Tom Spier

A native of Santa Fe, NM, Tom lives in Boulder, CO with his wife and his two sons. Prior to founding BFG, Tom co-founded EVOL Foods and was the COO of Bear Naked. Both EVOL Foods and Bear Naked were successfully sold under Tom’s leadership to Boulder Brands (NASDAQ: BDBD) and Kellogg’s (NYSE: K), respectively. Tom has also invested and advised a number of high growth food and consumer technology companies including Love Grown Foods, Door-to-Door Organics, Bonobos and Ibotta. Tom proudly serves on the Board of Directors of multiple food related non-profits.
