Mr. Edward "Ed" Keible is the Managing Director of Capstan Investments, a private firm, providing investment advice and funding to a diverse range of technologic enterprises. Previously, in 1994, Mr. Keible founded Endwave Corporation (NASDAQ-“ENWV”), a company specializing in the design and manufacture of Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFICs) for application in Telecommunication, Defense and Security Systems. Mr. Keible served Endwave as its CEO, raised several rounds of venture funding, and successfully led Endwave’s IPO in 2000 on NASDAQ. Endwave was acquired by GigOptix in 2011. Prior to Endwave, Mr. Keible spent 20 years as a Senior Vice President and Executive Officer of Raychem Corporation (a Fortune 500 company since acquired by Tyco) responsible for Raychem's Worldwide Electronics Business Group. Mr. Keible has been a board member of a number of technology based companies including Dynamic Materials Corporation, Premisys Corporation, Promex, and Zoemed, all have since been acquired. Additionally, he served as an Executive Director of the American Electronics Association for ten years. During his career, Mr. Keible has lived in Manama, Bahrain; Milan, Italy; London, England; and Palo Alto, California. Mr. Keible is a graduate of Dartmouth College. After graduation he served for four years in the United States Air Force attaining the rank of Captain. Subsequently, Mr. Keible received his Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard University. In 2001, Mr. Keible was selected as an Abbot Technology Leader by Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering and served a three year term as an Overseer. Mr. Keible holds four patents in the field of electronic component and communications. Mr. Keible is currently a Trustee of the Beta House, member of the 1769 Society, and Bartlett Tower Society at Dartmouth and a Social Enterprise Fellow at Harvard. Mr. Keible and his wife, Terry, live at Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina.
