Darryl Wash

Darryl Wash is the Managing Partner of Ascend. Prior to founding Ascend, Darryl was a Managing Director of Peter J. Solomon Company (PJSC), a New York-based private investment bank. Prior to his tenure with PJSC, Darryl worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Wash currently serves as a director of VerticalNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: VERT); SchoolNet, Inc.; NextMedium, Inc.; Retention Education, Inc., Tabula Digita, Inc. and SalesEdge, Inc. In addition, Mr. Wash is the treasurer of Do Something, a national youth service not-for-profit organization. Darryl received an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and was named an Arjay Miller Scholar for graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He is also a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (B.A., Economics) where he graduated with the highest distinction in general scholarship and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
