Bernd Arkenau

Bernd joined eCAPITAL in 2010. Prior to that, he worked in research and development, engineering, new business development and venture capital. Bernd graduated as an engineer from RWTH Aachen University with majors in process engineering and innovation management. Having worked among others on new membrane materials for CO2 separation and processes to use renewable raw materials for the production of bulk chemicals, Bernd has a strong interest in sustainability topics. At eCAPITAL, he led multiple investments and exits in sustainability, advanced materials and enterprise software companies.
