Alfred Chu

Mr. Alfred Chu joined IPV Capital as a Partner in 2010 based in Shanghai. Prior to joining IPV Capital, Mr. Chu was Managing Director at TDRH Capital, where he focused on China based clean technology investments. Before that, he was a Venture Partner at Panasonic Venture Capital in Silicon Valley where he was responsible for investments and corporate business development with TMT companies. Early in his career, Mr. Chu was an investment banker at Citigroup and a financial analyst at Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Chu brings with him over ten years of VC experience to the team. Mr. Chu holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS from the UC Berkeley, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude.
