Phil Compton

Phil Compton has more than 25 years of financial and operational experience in building the infrastructure, processes and profitability of several technology companies, wherein he has helped raise over $100M in venture financing. Most recently, Phil was the Senior VP of Finance for Netronome, where he helped close a $23M funding round in the midst of the 2010 “Great Recession”. He was the CFO & a key startup member for CoManage, in which he was involved in raising nearly $60M in venture funding and securing $10M in debt financing. Phil also served as the CFO for WiseWire, where he coordinated its acquisition for $40M by the web portal Lycos. He began his career with the Big Four accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers and later joined Black Box Corporation (BBOX on NASDAQ), where he played significant roles in both a leveraged buyout (LBO) and an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Phil is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from West Virginia University
