Peter Bassett

Currently, Advisory Board Member at MediaShift, a Colorado media technology company, Entrepreneur/Advisor at the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network, Mentor at Boomtown, Colorado. Peter most recently led Augur Technologies, Inc., as CEO, leading Augur through its acquisition by NY based Bounce Exchange in 2017. Augur is a Denver based device recognition and cyber-security technology company. Prior to Augur, Peter led AdMobius, Inc., as CEO, a mobile big data and audience management company, leading AdMobius through its acquisition by Baltimore based Lotame, Inc., in 2014. Prior to joining AdMobius, Peter headed Sales and Operations in North America for Bangalore based, InMobi, the world’s largest mobile advertising platform, and cut his teeth in mobile advertising as Head of Revenue at Millennial Media, a successful IPO company and early mover in Mobile advertising. Between those two mobile leadership positions Peter was COO at Sportgenic, the second largest digital sports network, acquired by Glam Media. Peter began his media career as Senior Vice President of Revenue at Community Connect Inc., managing revenue for the leading online niche social networking sites and through its acquisition by InteractiveOne in 2008. Peter has held divisional and regional positions in technology companies for more than 30 years, with companies such as Citibank, Diebold, Inc., AO Smith, and Korn Ferry International and has been a key executive in 6 company exits. Peter received a BA from Saint Michael’s College and did Executive MBA work at the Wharton School, U of Pennsylvania.
