John Pearce

John Pearce is a Co-Lead Investor and Member Board Of Directors at Soofa and Co-Founder and Partner at Underscore VC. John, a technology industry executive with more than 30 years of financial and operations leadership experience, was most recently a Chief Financial Officer at Actifio. Pearce worked closely with the rest of Actifio’s Leadership team to drive financial and internal operations as the Company extends its leadership position in the emerging, $21 billion PAS market. Prior to Actifio, Pearce served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Demandware, a global leader in on-demand ecommerce. Prior to Demandware, Pearce served as Chief Financial Officer at AppIQ, where he was on the executive team that created a market leader in Storage Resource Management (SRM) software and was acquired by HP in 2005. John also co-founded SilverStream Software and served as its Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of International Operations and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Previously, as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of International Business at Watermark Software, Pearce grew the business through its acquisition by FileNet Corporation in 1995. Earlier in his career, John held various operational and finance leadership positions.
