Tej Sahi

Tej Sahi is a senior banker with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Over the course of his career, Tej has been instrumental in building businesses across several areas of corporate and investment banking, with a primary focus on the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry. In his current capacity, Tej is the Managing Director and Global Head of Fund Finance within CIBC’s Innovation Banking group based in New York where he and his team lead the expansion of CIBC’s Technology banking in the US and EMEA market. Prior to joining CIBC, Tej was a senior member of Silicon Valley Bank’s Global Fund Banking division, responsible for managing and growing C-Suite relationships with Private Equity and Venture Capital firms. Tej began his career at Standard Chartered Bank where he subsequently remained for 11 years, constantly being promoted across a number of roles in London and New York. Tej graduated from the University of Manchester with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with honors and with a Master’s in Business from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.
