Patrick Chang

Patrick has over twenty years of experience in the semiconductor industry, in both business and general management roles as well as in key technology positions. Previously, Patrick was Vice President of Business/Account Management at TSMC, North America. Prior to his TSMC post, he served as Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (WSMC) and head of WSMC Americas-WSMC's US subsidiary. Other positions he held include Vice President of Foundry Business Development and Strategic Marketing at Nanya Technology USA, Vice President of General Administration at Winbond Microelectronics Corporation, and various management and technology positions at HP. While at HP, Patrick served as HP assignee to Sematech on its startup team for two years in Austin, Texas. He also served as HP exchange technologist to Toshiba in Japan for a year. Patrick holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from National Taiwan University, an MA and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, and an MBA from San Jose State University. Patrick is a board observer at NextIO, Audience, Validity Sensors, and Tilera. Patrick is also responsible for VentureTech's investments in Invensense.
