Reza is an accomplished financial executive with a strong educational foundation in France and the United Kingdom. After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 1989 with a degree in Production Engineering, he launched his career trading bullion and foreign exchange at Management Investment and Trade (MIT) in London, a subsidiary of MKS Finance. By 1991, he had risen to the role of General Manager, leading MIT to substantial growth and personally overseeing daily turnovers exceeding $10 billion. During his leadership at MIT, Reza managed a significant transition when Po Sang Bank, a sister bank to the Bank of China, acquired shares in the company. Later his strategic skills were crucial in orchestrating the subsequent profitable sale of Po Sang Bank's shares to Amalgamated Metals Corporation (AMC). Prior to co-founding Black Pearl Capital with Abbas Jafarian, Reza was also an executive at The Abela Corporation, a global enterprise with diversified interests, where he further developed his expertise in strategic investments.
