Ms. Marzec co-founded Bradford & Marzec, now part of Tortoise Credit Strategies, in 1984 and is a member of its investment policy and strategy committee. With more than 40 years of experience, she supports other portfolio managers and specialists on credit decisions, tactical trading strategies and special portfolio mandates including short duration, core-plus, high yield and international markets. Prior to founding the firm in 1984, Ms. Marzec managed more than $5 billion in fixed income investments for the Transamerica Corporation. Her responsibilities at Transamerica included investment grade and high yield debt analysis, portfolio management and trading for insurance company portfolios, a NYSE-listed total return bond fund and separate institutional client portfolios. She has served on the Los Angeles County Retirement Board, the investment committees of Mount St. Mary’s College Marlborough School and the Autry Museum of Western Heritage Board of Trustees. She is currently a member of the Los Angeles Music Center Blue Ribbon Committee and is a Dame of Malta and a Dame of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. Ms. Marzec holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Southern California.
