A serial entrepreneur, Venture Capital investor, and seasoned executive with 30 years’ experience as a founder, CEO, board member, advisor and investor. Extensive background in the ICT and renewable energy markets. Hands-on experience in starting and growing successful high-tech ventures, venture capital investments, and general management. Eran teams up with entrepreneurs to jointly build exciting high-tech companies, contributing his business experience, his track record, and his international network. Eran is a managing partner at Israel Tech Gate which provides technology scouting services to international corporations, helping them identify breakthrough technologies, potential partners, investment and M&A opportunities in Israel and north Europe. Co-founder and former CEO of CyOptics, among the world’s leading manufacturers of active optical components, with >$200M in annual sales, which was acquired by Avago Technologies (now Broadcom). Co-founder and former CEO of EnStorage, a developer of breakthrough energy storage systems for renewable and conventional energy applications Former CEO of Capital Nature, a renewable energy incubator, Partner in Israel Seed Partners, a $250M early-stage Israeli Venture Capital fund, and an angel investor in a number of early-stage Israeli startups. Held a number of senior management positions at Intel Corporation’s Pentium Processor and Networking divisions, among them the management of the Pentium® MMX Processor product, taking it from development and manufacturing to >$10B in sales. Eran holds B.Sc. Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
