He was an invited professor at the University of Colorado, worked at IBM Poughkeepsie and was a consultant in Supercomputing Systems to Los Alamos National Labs and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratories. Founded ProcuraDigital (a "FreeMarkets" for Latin America) in 2000. The company grew to $25mm in revenues and EBITDA of $7mm, with more than 150 employees in 7 countries. The company was sold to Grupo Santander in 2002. Founded Mixsic in 2007, a multimedia management service for TV networks in Latin America that build video communities for shows like CSI, Lost, Latin American Idol and Brazilian Next Top Models. Mixsic was also used for citizen journalism products in several news networks. Mixsic reached profitably after 2 years in operation. Founded Feedtrace in 2009, a real-time filtering engine for social streams, which launched InstantPulp, a site and iPad app for Entertainment news. Feedtrace was acquired by RollUp Media in 2011. Bernardo joined Kaplan Test Prep Division in New York as Chief Digital Officer in September 2010, were he is leading a transformation to a Digital, User Centric Company.
