Francois Veron

François has been a private equity investor for more than two decades. Previously, he had worked for the French Ministry of Finance then in corporate functions at Casino, the second-leading French listed food retail company. He joined Cita Gestion, then a Paris-based private equity investment firm, at the inception of the Cita FCPR1 fund in June 2001. There he invested highly successfully in 11 companies, including Direct Energie, Allociné, 1001 Listes, Faab / Fabricauto, Travelprice and Xilam Animation. He has worked for Newfund since inception in 2008. François was a Director of the French Association of private equity investors (AFIC), from 2009 to 2011.
