Greg Carper

Mr. Carper is a Vice President leading growth for Cyber and Enterprise IT Portfolio for SOSI. Mr. Carper joined SOSi LLC following the acquisition of STG in April 2018, where he was responsible for the same portfolio, joining STG in May 2017. Prior to STG, Mr. Carper served in diverse leadership roles leading growth, strategy, and business development at Engility – VP Business Development, at Mission Essential – Global Growth Officer, and at CACI- Senior Director DoD Business Development. Mr. Carper believes that growth is a team sport and that everyone in the organization is responsible for the success. He is well regarded for his leadership while with Mission Essential with recognition for developing a strategic growth plan taking Mission Essential from a single contract in the language translation services market into a more diversified portfolio of functional mission support services in direct support of the defense intelligence community. He was accountable for a B&P budget more than $10M per annum and was instrumental in assessing, selecting, deploying and managing a diverse team of growth directors, capture managers, and proposal managers who supported human-capital solutions and program support to government and corporate clients operating in high-threat and post conflict regions with a specific focus on intelligence augmentation, training and mission support. Mr. Carper and his team were responsible for significant growth during his tenure growing Mission Essential from ~ $100M in 2008 to revenues exceeding ~$775M with over 8800 employees prior to joining Engility in January 2013.
