Alline Akintore

After conducting a national search, we are proud to announce that Alline Akintore has joined the Oregon Venture Fund’s management team. Alline stood out for her passion for entrepreneurship, as well as her achievements as a founding executive of a startup, and experience as a venture investor. Alline will lead the fund’s diligence and research activities and contribute to all aspects of the fund, including advising and supporting regional startups pre and post investment. Her research and leadership skills, extensive professional network, coupled with her enthusiasm for the Oregon Venture Fund’s mission and values make her a natural fit for the fund’s management team. She and her family recently moved to Portland from the Bay Area, where most recently she participated as a venture fellow with January Ventures. Previously, Alline served as a Costanoa Ventures MBA intern, as a World Economic Forum fellow, as an engineer with GE, and as COO of RwandaOnline. “I was looking to join a venture ecosystem that was fast-growing, ambitious, hungry and very collaborative – one where I could meaningfully contribute to the success of the community and grow as an individual. It was also very important to me that I join a mission-oriented team with a self-transcendent purpose, beyond “making venture returns.” The fund managers and the network of Venture Partners at OVF are some of the most accomplished yet humble people I have ever met; I am excited to bring my experience to this community, and even more eager to learn from it. I’ll just put it out there that I am also obsessed with all the Douglas firs in this beautiful state!”
