Rick Poulton

Rick Poulton is responsible for all financial operations at Allscripts. Poulton also oversees Legal, Compliance, Business Development and Strategy for the company. He has more than 18 years of experience working in public companies. Prior to joining Allscripts, Poulton served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for AAR Corp. He joined AAR in 2006 and served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Strategic Investment prior to becoming CFO and Treasurer. Prior to his tenure with AAR, Poulton spent more than ten years at UAL Corporation in a variety of financial and business development roles including Senior Vice President of Business Development as well as President and CFO of the company's client-focused Loyalty Services subsidiary. Poulton also served as Vice President of Finance for online retailer Ourhouse.com from 1999 to 2000. Poulton began his career in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen & Co., LLP, where he held multiple positions of increasing responsibility. Poulton has served as a board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Poulton received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with honors, from Marquette University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in strategy and finance, from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
