Sourav Kole

Sourav is currently at Verily (fka Google Life Sciences). At Verily, he has led strategy, executed deals, and managed partnerships for several medtech and digital health programs.  Prior to Verily, he was at Varian, where he helped to build the Strategy & BD function. In this role, he created the foundation of the Interventional Oncology business unit at Varian through multiple acquisitions and investments. He also founded and ran the venture capital arm at Varian. Varian was acquired by Siemens Healthineers for $16.4B.   Prior to Varian, Sourav cofounded Xenocor, a surgical medtech company, with the vision to make laparoscopy more accessible to patients worldwide with single-use scopes and small footprint laparoscopy. Sourav has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization in Computational Neurology from the University of Utah.
