Alexander Piskunov

Alexander Piskunov is a managing partner at KAAN Ventures - a special situations investment firm with a focus on breakthrough technologies across the US, Europe and Southeast Asia. There, he is responsible for investments, portfolio management and fundraising. Having founded and successfully exited his wine startup in the UK, Alexander is an entrepreneur-turned-VC and amongst other engagements he is a mentor at accelerators including TechStars, Plug&Play and Founder Institute and a speaker at tech conferences including Startup Grind and LSE Russian Business Week. Alexander is a member of the task force on the applications of AI in Pakistan and a strategic advisor to the Technology Innovation Agency of South Africa. He holds awards for his investment and portfolio management successes from Pakistan, UAE and South Korea.
