Christopher Lord

Christopher Lord San Francisco is the founder of Criterion Capital Management, LLC ("Criterion"). Before forming the firm in 2002, he was the founder of Pivotal Asset Management, LLC, an adviser to late-stage crossover funds, and served as its Director of Research. At Pivotal, he managed the short portfolio and the fund's private investments. Prior to forming Pivotal, he was a Senior Analyst at Amerindo Investment Advisors, Inc., from 1996 to 1999. At this firm, he helped to manage about $1 billion in assets of emerging growth technology companies. He also has worked as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Par Vest Asset Management, a short-focused hedge fund, at Scudder, Stevens & Clark, and at Bache Capital Funding. He received a BA degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
