Bob has lived and worked in Silicon Valley for almost twenty years. He has helped to build companies in the technology and healthcare space, while serving on a wide variety of Boards. Bob has served as President and CEO of Vascular Dynamics Inc., a blood pressure modulation company from November of 2011 to the present. Prior to that Bob served at Micrus Endovascular a company focused on the treatment of stroke as its President and Chief Operating Officer, EVP, and CFO among other positions from January 2004 through the acquisition by J&J in 2011. From September 2000 to January 2004, Mr. Stern served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Context Connect, Inc., a connectivity, and technology application company. From March 2000 to September 2000, he served as the Executive Vice President of Quixel Capital Group, an investment holding company operating 15 companies in Asia. From January 1996 to March 2000, he served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of InnerDyne, Inc., a medical device company. From October 1991 to January 1996, he served as Vice President, Corporate Finance and Chief Financial Officer of RhoMed Incorporated, a Bio-pharmaceutical company. Mr. Stern received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business and Economics, and his MBA from the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Management.
